If you all do this, please be careful while taking the plastic off of the meter. I have a piece of Drake meter plastic permanently in the lens of my right eye. It is dead center and would have done more harm taking it out then leaving it since plastic was inert.
It was my own fault, but
PLEASE USE SAFETY GLASSES while working the plastic off of old meters.
