In my Heathkit SB-102 manual someone penciled in that subbing 6HS6s for the 6AU6s used in the IF amplifiers would require a re-peak of the IF (no kidding) but might overload in the presence of high signal levels (also no kidding).
No comment was made about subbing the 6HS6 in the RF amp with a 6AU6.
THe two tubes are quite different in their electrical characteristics; so different that I wouldn't recommend a mere drop-in substitution. Do consider changing the grid and screen bias voltages if you do. Might want to start by comparing the R4B schematic with the SB-102 schematic (OK, I've now spoken heresy, so sue me!)
The 6HS6 has roughly twice the transconductance of the 6AU6.
The 6EW6 has radically different basing than the 6HS6, so I won't go there. I'm not into that sort of self-flagellation.
