Bill - Most "funny" DR-7 readings are due to a drop off in injection level - probably due to a bad connection.
Try checking and reseating all connectors on the DR-7.

Since I don't have a service manual, where is the DR7 board located? I noticed that there is a vertical board just behind the right side front panel that is on a plug-in board. I did re-seat it. No joy.
Anywhere on the 'net to download a service manual?
