I have restored some front panels using model paints from a local hobby store here in Portland, Oregon. I just dug them up and will list them for you. Of the 2 colors, I came real close and after drying, used some very fine polish on the whole panel which blended them right in. Be careful, though as you don't want a high-gloss finish or cause any further damage. They are little 1/2 ounce glass bottles under the name "Model Master." It's been a while, but the 2 I think I used are FS-36251 (1794) Navy Aggressor Gray and FS-16081 (1791) Navy gloss Gray. I had 2 others and will list them as I may have used them to tone the colors up or down. They are FS-36231 (1740) Dark Grill Gray and FS 36081 (1788) Euro I Gray. They need to be mixed well and you need to clean the area you are painting first. I cut down a small hobby brush to use, but in the past have used the end of a paper match torn out of it's cover or even the sharp end of a toothpick. I remember one of the colors, I think the lighter one being a perfect match on an MS-4 I restored. After rubbing it out I couldn't even tell it had been touched up.
