I have a nice TR-7 (earlier serial number) that is 100% electrically and about a 8.5 out of 10 physically (maybe even higher but I am VERY picky). The PS-7 is a little rough but the face is excellent and the side and back are nice. The top is rough and shows the signs of things moving around on top as well as some pitting. It is only on the top and could easily be fixed with only a small amount of work. The TR-7 was just serviced by Hal at Land Air Communications in early June. He did a full alignment and replaced a bad decade divider as well as an intermittent voltage regulator on the display board. The radio is 100% up to specifications and looks nice. I spent over $300 to have the radio brought up to factory specifications and gone over well. I have many radios and I am running out of space. The radio is stock but it does have the resistor mod for AM reception. It includes a very nice Astatic JT-30 microphone head on a Electro Voice base with stock PTT. I am asking $500 for the radio and power supply with microphone. I also have a DC power cable for $20 if requested. I will stand behind the radio if you find it is not what I stated. It also has the remainder of the warranty through Hal. I just received the radio back late last week. It does not drift with about 20 minutes of warm-up and has great TX and RX audio. Buyer pays for shipping and insurance (required). I prefer PayPal but will accept M.O. or cash if a local pick-up is requested. You are more than welcome to request an on-air demonstration or even check out the radio yourself if you are local. This is a great radio at a great price. I will offer it here before I list it on eBay. |
