I think one of the biggest advantages to eBay is that equipment that sat in
closets for years and would still be sitting there, if it weren't for eBay.
Most "non-hams" have no idea what to do with this strange looking equipment
and what it's worth. I currently have 1331 positive feedbacks with 0
negative. I've gotten burned but didn't realize it because I didn't check
it out for 3 months after I bought it. I've also gotten some smoken deals.
I'm not a "people" person and I don't go to hamfests and the like, but I
have no problem tappin the keys of a computer.
There's bad and good in every corner of the world. If you think there's bad
there, that you can't handle, don't go there. For some of us, we'll take
our chances. For Drake, I'm down to my TR-6 station but if I can ever sell
one of my other stations, I may just check out another TR.
