Hello to the group!

I just wanted to add my $0.02 Cdn to this as well. I have installed one of Donnie's new windows in an R-4C and what a difference! The old one was cracked, yellowed, and badly scratched due to dial rubbing. These new ones are so close to the originals you cannot tell the difference. Fit and workmanship is first rate! Just remember you have to fix what caused the dial rubbing in the 1st place!

I have switched all my 4-line gear and my 7-line dial and meter filters to Donnie's blue (+ white in the 4-lines) and they look terrific! No washed out green here! Just a nice shade of blue - and all the same too! Think I am up to 4 separate orders now.

Donnie also has a replacement cap board for the R-4/A/B that looks of interest too. Have yet to try one but they look good and easy to install too. We're all going to have to this job eventually!

I have no commercial benefit in Donnie's products - just a very happy customer!

Gang,
I recently had the opportunity to sample some replacement dial windows for
the Drake 4 line from Donny Garrett WA9TGT. The fixed C line style as well
as the earlier sliding dial windows are available. They are first rate and
very well made. If anyone needs new dial windows for their Drakes be sure to contact Donny at [EMAIL PROTECTED] . He also has the blue Gel filters as well
as the white dial backgrounds.
