Hello everyone - have not posted here before - just recently got on the list.
I have recently fired up after a couple of year's absence - my Drake TR--4C. Although I have a bad af/rf pot, which I will soon fix, everything else seems to be fine. The problem is when I connect my RV4C remote VFO. When I hook it up, I get a bad "buzzing" sound in the speaker.
Is this an bad ground somewhere? It disappears immediately when I disconnect the RV4C.
I hate to say it, but I've never been very technical minded when it comes to troubleshooting this type of problem.
