Although I have not tried this on the Drakes, I know that a crisp dollar
bill pulled through relay contacts can do wonders for cleaning. Might
take an edge of a dollar and tear a stip. Slip the strip into the
contacts, then pull it back out. A crisp bill seems to have just enough
abrasive to pull dirt, but not enough to damage the contacts.

IF the problem is the relay contacts, a drop of DeoxiT on them will clean
them up for another 30 years. Do NOT use a file or abrasive of any kind. If
they're bad enough to need that, you're better off to replace the relay.

the problem. My theory is that the contacts on the relay, particularly
the antenna switchover contact, needs cleaning. Perhaps replacing the
relay with this recommended replacement will solve the problem.
