Has anyone had problems with the plastic dial mechanism of the TR4C?
Mine jumps all over as the tuning knob rotates, skips and doesn't track
the VFO shaft. The VFO certainly works but I sure as heck don't know
where in the world I am as the dial is miles out! It seems that the
plastic gears are having a hard time rotating the two plastic see
through frequency plates. I guess I should dissassemble the mechanism
and see where its binding. Comments? Any reference to help would be
appreciated.
