As of my input on this tread, I've owned a TR7 for well over 20 years now and never gave the "residual audio" a second thought.

With the recent conversation about "residual audio", I feel that I
should say that the control used for the af/rf/pwr sw
was a stock part, and did not go fully to zero when turned down - the
reported small audio output at minimum
gain setting is normal - shoot me if dissatisfied!
