Anyway, I fired the rig up last night and find that the CW sidetone is more or less continuous and really weak and kinda watery sounding. I have in mind replacing C-129 but that requires a trip to the local electronics shop. Should I pick up anything else during that trip? I mean, are there any other components that might be weak that I ought to consider grabbing while I'm in town? Of course, the lesson here is to test one's rig more than one day before the big contest! Heh.
