Well, I had erroneous
readings with one of my cheaper frequency counters and I suspect that's because
it isn't sensitive enough and can't lock on correctly or if I'm trying to
measure a point that has multiple frequencies on it, it doesn't know which one
to grab. I switched to HP 5316B which is sensitive and has some
filtering.

IL. Looks like I need frequency counter help, not R4-C help. I just
discovered my counter doesn't seem to be working correctly. I checked a
known aligned and working R4-C and get the same bogus
measurements.
