Well, it took a 47pf cap replacing the original 12pf but transceive mode
is working great on my B-line. Thanks to all that contributed helpful
hints.

Subject: [drakelist] B-Line Transceive
"Bill Carpenter" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> made an utterance to the drakelist gang
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The recent posts about B-Line transceiver problems have renewed my
interest in solving my similar problem. I'm not sure if my problem is
the same or not. The receive/transmit frequencies are 1 Khz off on SSB
in transceiver. Not sure on CW but I think it's about the same though I
would normally use separate in CW anyway. The 5595 Khc crystal in the
R4B seems to be right on it's 5595 frequency and when I try to align the
T4XB with it I don't get a warbling sound at all - just a solid tone that
is not affected at all by moving C61. I tried listening to the 5595
signal directly while moving C61 and it did not move in frequency that I
could tell listening with my TR7. The rig works great in separate on both
SSB and CW with the spot feature working correctly.
So, do I need to try changing the padding cap on C61 or is my problem
stemming from something else?
Thanks!
Bill, NZ0T
