OEM goods are "aftermarket". OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) is a term coined by IBM in the 1950's. It was used to describe companies that manufactured things using IBM computers inside of them. At the time they were mostly oil refineries. In radio terms, if Drake took a Sure microphone and sold it with their logo on it, Drake would be OEM'ing the microphone. Geoff. -- Geoffrey S.
