Andy -
Being on just one band, it's "possible" that you have a bad crystal,
but not likely.
Also not likely that it's a power supply problem if it only occurs on
one band. Prime suspect would be RF getting back into the transmitter
from the antenna. What is your antenna system?
You can check by loading into a dummy load and see if it's still bad.

I've got a very harsh distorted CW note on 20 meters (80, 40 and 30
meters work fine). The rig tunes up on 20 meters fine but the note is
distorted. I've never updated the power supply and wonder if this
could be leaky filter caps or maybe a bad 20 meter crystal? The
switches (ie bandswitch) seem fine. I'd sure appreciate any input.
