I do have a RV7 external VFO but not the manual. Now I do have a problem (at least I think so). The "spot" function button is not clear to me. If I push it, some funny sounds are coming from the TR7. It looks like 2 VFO frequencies are "mixed" in the TR7. I thought it would be a quick switch to switch over easily between RX and TX frequency (as to check the calling freq in a pile-up with split freq). 1) What is the function of this spot switch 2) Do I have to set a something on the TR7 to make this button work? 3) What could cause this funny sound? 4) Is there anyone out there who has got a manual in digital form available (e-mail)?
