I made a typo when I posted that. It's an SPR-4, not an SPR-3. I'm new to the hobby and not that familiar with testing radios. I've been reading up on the Drake equipment I just got though, and I have the manuals. I have a TR4 with MS3 and AC3 also. Both radios have the optional noise blankers installed. Could that be related to the sound problem on the SPR-4? 73 Steve
