I have a "Matched" B line that I would sell to you. They are from an
estate. I have powered them up individually and tested them and found
everything to be at 100% except for the following issues.
T4X-B 1. The dial is very smoky looking in the upper part of the
dial. Looks like it was exposed to UV?
2. The LSB filter is not working, very low output so was
able to test cw/am (you probably saw my posts looking for one).
R4B 1. The 100KHz calibration crystal needs to be replaced, (low
level birdies between 25KHz markers)
Both units come with extra crystals. The receiver has 160meter crystal
and a bunch of CB band xtals in the accessory slots.
Cabinets are original and clean with some minor imperfections. Nothing
serious. No obvious maintenance or modifications noted.
Chassis show normal spotting. Very clean and all switches/pots
cleaned. They will arrive with with manuals.
I do have an AC/4 but want to keep it.
Asking 325dollars for the B set with manuals. You pay FedEx Ground/insured.
I am not actively trying to peddle them. Moving to Arizona and see a
chance to eliminate a few boxes.
