Folks: Does anyone out there have a suggestion (or two) on how I can "tune" my Drake TR-4C for transmitting an easier way other than the "manual's" method? I do not have access to a wattmeter or anything like that to put between the TR-4C and the antenna.
I kind of find the manual's tune-up procedure a little too complicated(?) and perhaps prone to me accidentally over-loading the "final" tubes. Just going by making adjustments to the meter reading(s) seems a bit "iffy" to me. Just my feeling. Thank you. AB8ZP
