Hi Guys,

Well, rather than trying my luck for a new S1 switch for the T-4X here (fat
chance, no doubt!), I reverted back to "...making-do" with what I've got,
i.e.:

-I made a sketch of the wafer, & indicated which coloured wire(s) was
soldered to what lug(s);

-Then I snipped off each of the attaching wires right at each lug;

-I confirmed where, exactly, the one loose "orphan" lug was supposed to
attach to the wafer, and how everything was to align, and finally,

-I applied just a wee bit of slow-cure epoxy glue to the phenolic piece that
broke off, and secured everything nice & steady for the 24 hour curing
process with a piece of masking tape.

Once the intial application of glue has hardened, I'll apply LIBERAL amounts
of additional glue, on BOTH sides of the switch as well as to the edges, to
ensure things won't come apart again under stress of rotation.

As I said before, this technique worked very well with the function switch
on my old SB-400, right up to the day I retired the rig.

...And hopefully this'll be the last of this string!
