Hi Bill, A comment: The RV-4 will work OK with that rig, and I think even an RV-3 can be made to work - I can't recall if a mod to the VFO is required or not, anymore. If you're not trying to have a collector showpiece, such that you're not concerned with an exact physical match, this opens new choices to you. I used to have a TR-3, and the RV-3 was the most significant addition I made to that rig.
