OK GOT IT (I THINK)

I added one ferrite to the lead coming into the back of the radio
from the key after grounding the MFJ989B tuner and now I can go QRO even
while using the SSB (HIGH VOLTAGE) selection on the AMP during CW with no
issues at all on 40 meters don't know abt the other bands yet, but should be

Bob,

It sounds like rf from your L7 is getting into your Icom. You might try some
clip-on ferrites for the power cord, microphone cord, coax, and any other
wires going in to it.

Can someone pls tell me why when I am loading up my antenna with my Drake
L-7, the Keyer on my IC-761 gets stuck. I have to depress the VOX then turn
the rig on and off to get it to unstuck.
Any ideas?
