Not trying to start a flame-war but Oleic Acid and Naphtha practically
is real Deoxit. Caig (the makers of Deoxit) bought out a German company
and changed the name of that company's existing product which contained
these two substances. The guy that found out bought some while in Saudi
Arabia. They had the listing of the chemicals contained right on the
bottle (maybe required in that country, I don't know).
I have gotten some emails asking where to get Oleic Acid:

Even after shipping, it is still much, much less expensive to make your
own than to buy from Caig. You can even make enough for yourself and
then give away the rest to your ham or electronics repair friends.
To be clear: I am not in anyway angry or wish anything bad for Caig.
They are a good company with good products (I use their FaderLube). I
just hate to spend way more money on something for the amount I get when
I can make almost 50 times that amount for about the same price. :)
