Harbach Electronics stocks them.
While you have the case open, might want to replace the 5K 7 watt resistor that is prone to take out the ALC pot when it fails. I use two 10K 10 watt resistors in parallel. -----Original Message----- From: K4GM- George <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Sent: Sun, Sep 5, 2010 5:43 pm Subject: [Drakelist] L4-B resistor substitute I have an "ailing" R12 in my L4-B power supply. Although functioning a portion of the outer cover has split off and I am afraid it is only a matter of time until it fails. The resistor is listed as .82 ohms at 2 watts. There is a note to "replace with IRC Type BWH resistor only". I did find a replacement at R&J Electronics but the smallest quantity is a package of 18!! Does anyone know where I might locate a good substitute? Is this something I could find at Mouser if I call. Can't seem to find online at Mouser but may not be using right search criteria.
