You asked about SPR-4 labels. Here's a suggestion from back in February
that I found very helpful. If the Drakelist is searchable, I don't know how
to do it...this is just from my "old mail." Good luck...I want to make
some labels for my own SPR-4, too. Jim, K5JD, seems to have the solution--or
at least one of them. Love those Drakes! 73, Tony N3WAK

Subject: Re: [Drakelist] SPR-4 Labels

When I had my SPR-4 (which I STUPIDLY sold a few months ago), I replaced
the labels for the optional crystals using my Brother P-Touch label
maker with black-on-clear tape.

One of the 5 text size settings was pretty close the original Drake
lettering. The text style setting called "vertical" allowed me to print
the "Frequency", "Preselector", and "Range" info on a single label that,
when held vertically, closely matched the Drake labels.

I think I needed only one space between the freq, pre, and range
designations to make them look right.

All I had to do then was trim the labels into the trapezoidal shape
needed to place them on the dial.
