I am setting up a 2NT with a VFO. The easiest way to connect seems to
be to connect the output of the vfo to a crystal socket. I would like to
try as a plug an FT-243 crystal holder with the crystal removed and the
vfo output soldered to the two holder pins. Anybody willing to part
with an old bad crystal?? Does anyone have a source for such a
plug? I realize it's fairly simple to solder the output wire to the
crystal socket pins but was trying to do it the "right" way first...
