Fellow Drake enthusiasts,
Anybody out there ever take measurements on the input SWR for the Drake L-75 on 160 meters? The one that I am working on can have the input coil for that band adjusted for 1.4:1 around the high end of the band and it goes up on either side. However, no matter whether I move the slug in or out, I can never get the SWR down below 2:1 on the low end of the band. Almost suggests a blown mica on one end of the input coil but just looking for others' experiences. 73, Evan, K9SQG
