I have been using relays for power switching for years. All 24 VDC relays with hefty contacts for the TR-4C, T4XB, HQ-140, Pro II plus same stuff out back in my Retirement Condo (aka shed) for the SR-150 and TS-50, plus stereo and TV hookups.
Works great and saves power switches.
