Vary simple, no equipment needed.
Connect a clip lead to the receiver antenna. Set the AVC to FAST. Drag
the other end of the clip lead along a metal surface, the chassis of the
receiver works fine, or anything grounded and uninsulated.
The S Meter will jump all over the place with the noise.
Switch on the NB, and the noise is greatly diminished and the S-Meter
will just lay on S-1 or S-2.
You'll know if it's working.
They are often out of alignment but is simple to do with a VTVM.
