I sent the OEM 13.695 MHz xtal into ICM and asked that they duplicate the operating characteristics. The xtal I received from them will operate on 13.695 MHz but is unable to be pulled the necessary +/- 3 KHz in the VCXO circuit. I can only get +/- 1.7 Khz, not enough.
Bottom line: ICM xtals made for the 13.695 MHz VCXO will not operate properly in the VCXO circuit. I am $50 poorer and no operating xtals from ICM. I re-installed the OEM xtal, aligned and the TR-7A is working beautifully.
