Someone hijacks the address list from a list members' eMail client.
Generally, MS Outlook is a favorite target. One of the reasons for
folks using Mozilla T-bird--less likely to be taken over. Once the
virus sends out the full address book, it becomes available for the spam
initiators. Simplified explaination.
