I've found that I can sometimes peak the LOAD control, but typically still have to peak it once I put power out.

He says you can even peak up the LOAD control... Like Garey, I make a table of all settings and just set them from that. I need to set my Heath antenna tuner too. This is at the final power setting (fully tuned up) I am so fast at tuning for MAX smoke that I think I am very kind to the finals. Probably a more important thing is use a small AUX fan for cooling...I just set mine on top & suck the air OUT.
