I am the original owner so I know it's history.
I had this unit working at my QTH for abt 10 years back in the 70s and
80s, then I went QRT until recently.
The control box is in very good condition and was in storage in my attic
for many years.
The remote switch box sat outside in the elements all these years and
shows it's age.
I recently put it all on the work-bench and got it working again, but,
it needs some work. I did replace the terminal blocks on the remote
unit as they were beyond repair. The new terminal blocks are as close
to the original as I could find. The switch contacts on the remote unit
were cleaned with De-Oxit. I have done nothing with the control box, it
is completely original. The only other parts replaced were the bolts
and nuts to hold it to a pipe (the mounting brackets are original) and
the grounding stud.
I did have it working on the workbench, but when I put it on the tower,
the motor would only turn if I gave the box a good whack, so it needs to
be taken apart again and further restoration done.
I lost the manual at some point, but good PDF copies are available, or I
can e-mail one I found.
I would rather see it go to a good home than just sit in my attic again.
