Terry, Sorry no, I do not speak Russian or Chinese : - )
All kidding aside, I am not sure that there are any more tube manufacturers left in the US with the possible exception of Eimac (?) There would have to be a lot of paid-in-advance orders to get a company to do all the NRE start-up, tooling, testing, retooling, retesting to get a prodution run. I am sure that it is not out of the question, but be prepared to pay. One way to help to convince someone to do it would be to have a cross-over plan to the commercial world for hi-end Stereo and Guitar amps. The oxygen-free golden ear types will pay dearly for tubes... ...still, it would be nice 73 Gene K1NR On Thu, 3 May 2012 08:56:51 -0700 "Terrell Hamilton" <[email protected]> wrote: > Gene, et. al > > Is it beyond the realm of possibility that some small > tube company might be > convinced to do a limited (Sylvania quality) run of > 6JB6's and 6AH6's?
