Jim, Great video. Glad to see the TR-7 still holding its own.
Reminds me of a field day many yearrs ago. One of our three some brought his then brand new TS940. That was to be our primary xcvr, with my "old" TR-7 as back up. As it turned out, his fancy Kenwood couldn't handle generator fluctuations, questionable grounding, etc. and kept locking up or powering down. The TR-7 saved the weekend and I never let him forget that. 73 Lee WB6SSW -----Original Message----- From: Jim Shorney <[email protected]> To: DrakeRadio <[email protected]>; [email protected] <[email protected]> Sent: Mon, Jun 25, 2012 12:37 am Subject: [Drakelist] Are you ready for your close-up, Mr. Drake? ield Day news video. I had nothing to do with the shooting or editing of this eport, they shot a ton of B-roll footage Saturday and this is what got aired. he young lady obviously has an advanced and discerning sense of taste (which lso explains why I'm not in any of the shots...). http://www.1011now.com/home/headlines/Ham_Radio_Operators_Gather_for_Drill_160135775.html The TR-7 has the warm white frosted LED lamps from cointaker.com, just installed ast week. I think it looks very good. 73 -Jim U0C -- am Radio NU0C incoln, Nebraska, U.S.S.A.
