I recently refurbed an R-4A that I bought on eBay, and the dial scale
and S-meter light up very bluish (which is ok by me).
The only thing I'm wondering about is the T-4X that I have had for a
while. the S-meter illumination is just white, like the 2B, and the dial
scale lights up very light blue, maybe kind of blue-green, but it's
quite different from the R-4A.
Is it normal that the R-4A and R-4X are a lot different from each other
illumination-wise?
