Hi Lane, Back up, take a deep breath, and re-think the deal if you are the least bit uncomfortable. The guys and gals on this list are a great group even if they growl once and awhile. Don't EVER be afraid to ask a question. There are excellent hams on line who can help and advise, and many from hands on experience with the particular piece of equipment you are looking at. If you are like me, If it is "RARE" or "PRISTINE" the price is gonna be too high for me anyhow. Never be afraid to ask for help from the ole guys. At one time they needed an "Elmer" themselves

If there is something for sale, Please notify us new hams to not bother with our insipid and stupid questions to sellers, Just like I did with a Drakelist seller, Mr. Skid----. Seems to not be a true Amateur Radio brother, but rather a profit seeking rogue in our midst. When communicated with he gives no details and seems to have little to no knowledge of what he tries to pawn off ... _______________________________________________ Drakelist mailing list [email protected] http://mailman.zerobeat.net/mailman/listinfo/drakelist
