I don't want to compile kernel modules by hand on enterprise
distribution. But this wasn't my q.
If there is a bug in 8.0.* rpm package i guess it should be fixed. I'm
sure Lars will comment on this. :-)
Back to the topic, which one should be choosen? I guess 8.0 not until
it's fixed?

Martin

on RHEL 5.4 x86_64,
first i installed drbd-8.2.? rpm from a CentOS-Repository but there was a bug
in die linbit:ocf concerning master-slave (multi-state) configuration of a
stacked device.
after that i installed drbd-8.3.4 from source, that was easy and it's working
well.
Why not use the latest stable release?

Hi,
i'm setting up XEN active/active cluster on CentOS 5.4. Which version of drbd
would you recommend? I would choose 8.0.
kmod-drbd-xen.x86_64 : drbd kernel module(s)
kmod-drbd82-xen.x86_64 : drbd82 kernel module(s)
kmod-drbd83-xen.x86_64 : drbd83 kernel module(s)
Tnx for hints. :-)
Regards,
M.
