Hi Mike, i have these lines in the VM config file:

disk = [ "phy:/dev/VolGroup00/p3x0501logvol,xvda,w" ]
disk = [ "drdb:repdata,xvdb,w" ]

So / is on the top one and the partition i want to replicate across these 2 vms is the second line.

I could mount it from both VMs, but they dont replicate their contents.

Thanks
Cris

Hi list,

I have two servers running centos 5.2 with xen kernel embedded. I need to create with LVM a partition on both nodes and replicate with drbd, then mount them within the Xen VM and my hope is that drbd will replicate its files.

When i create a file inside the Xen VM, it doesnt replicate to the other Vm.
Any help or document that may be useful is greatly appreciated.

Cris

what are you assigning to the xen vm for the virtual block device? are you using /dev/VolGroup00/p3x0401disk1 or /dev/drbd0 or something else?
