Nope. Resize that filesystem with resize2fs to make room for your DRBD metadata, then once that is done create the metadata locally, then create the metadata on a fresh partition on the peer node, and do an initial sync. >> or does the drbd setup process force me to start with a raw unformated >> partition ? > > That's the case.
