Changing some settings, I've finally got some errors logged:

Note to people writing error messages - never say "invalid parameter"
without quoting or otherwise specifying the parameter you're rejecting. Or
is "(2)" a parameter spec? A message like that is better than nothing ...
barely.

This stuff has the complexity of a jet plane where a Model T ought to do the
job. ; >
