I've been using 8.4.2 built from source. Not a good idea then?

The servers do indeed have all SSD drives, 6 x Samsung 840 Pro 512GB in RAID 5 
arrangement, attached to a Dell H700 controller with 1GB cache.

What does kmod-flashcache do for us?
