Me too, and it works very well, but only with directly connected
crossover cables between the servers. I wasn't able to get it working
correctly via a switch on the replication network. It went wrong when I
disconnected one of the cables.
You might be able to get it to work better than me but I'd advise you to
test failures like that before putting it into production if this is
your use case.
Btw, I found using jumbo frames (setting MTU=9000) made a huge
improvement to performance here.
