@ Jack, Okay i will check that. BTW i have installed it freshly from source. So, everything seems to be working fine.
Previously i have tried installing this on CentOS, but it was a total disaster, reboot after the installation somehow corrupted the kernel. Again not sure what went wrong even after consulting CentOS community over there. Since RHEL and CentOS (Both 6.3) share the same source code, are there any known issues or anything you came across like this? I am running these OS as VMs on Intel Core 2 Duo/x86 machine.
