during a roling upgrade, since one side is still 0.7.14 and can
potentially deadlock, you may find it useful to

 perl -ne '/^MemTotal:\s+(\d+) kB/ and do {
        $a = (1000*$1/3);
        warn qq{doing ("X" x $a) now...\n};
        $x = "X" x $a;  }' < /proc/meminfo

before you "drbdadm disconnect" or "drbdadm connect".
after that 'oneliner', there is so much memory free that the risk of
running into the deadlock is minimal.
