The process I'm used to is...

./configure <options>
make
make install
cd drbd
make clean all

You're saying the whole process has been reduced to...

make

...?

and don't want you to build it!!1!.

But I was able to leak that top secret information and can tell you how we do 
it internally: We type "make" (and install the kernel headers before)...
