Dream Title Revealing the Moon by Amiris
Date of Dream Tuesday, June 1, 1999/Wednesday, June 2, 1999
Dream I was outside with someone, male, I believe, I
knew the person but could not see the face nor did I know the name but the
voice was familiar. We were outside in the parking lot by my apartment
complex, it was night and the sky was cloudy and there was wind--I was
upset because I couldn't see the moon so this person told me to cast a
spell so that the moon would reveal itself to me. I performed a ritual but
can't remember how I did it. Once I finished the ritual the clouds parted
and immediately I saw a perfectly round bright full moon. I was jumping up
and down quite excited because the spell had worked and the person standing
with me said, "see, I told you that you could do it". I was really happy
at this point. I stood with this person in the moonlight staring at the
moon. .As soon as the moon revealed itself to me the wind stopped.
Suddenly there appeared little black bats as if they had flown out of the
moon itself. At first I was nervous, !

maybe even a bit frightened but as the bats came closer I realized that
they had appeared as a result of the spell I had cast and that they meant
no harm. They circled close over my head and I reached up my arms and made
it so that they could land on my hand if they choose to but they just flew
back into the moon. Immediately after they returned to the moon I looked
down at my feet and saw little turtles-one for each bat that had flown over
my head but I cant remember the number (possibly ten). Since we were in
the parking lot I picked up a soft powder blue blanket and held it in my
arms, I then started to place the turtles into the blanket I was holding to
move them out of the parking lot and to a safer place. Then the dream
changed scenes and I was in my step father's convenience store looking at
butterfly clips for my hair I saw only black and white and was trying to
decide between the two I moved the basket that they were in and saw a pink
butterfly clip and choose that!

one. The person in my dream was with me until I went to the convenience
store. Other than the few moments of nervousness when the bats first
appeared and confusion when I was trying to choose a hair clip the overall
emotional feel of the dream was excitement and happiness.
Comments by Dreamer I had this dream when I went to bed and was
surprised that I remembered so much of it that I was surprised. I would
love it if someone could analyze this dream and tell what everything means
in it.
