It seems to me that your great fear of these creatures in your dream are your
fears actually taking a physical form. I dont think the appearance of the
creature is significant, but I do think you may have alot of underlying fears
over this whole ordeal with leaving your husband. Maybe you are afraid of you
husband, maybe the unknown territory youve entered. Is it possible that you are
worried in some way of the past coming back to haunt you for your decision, or
that you may be afraid of his ability to re-enter your life? It is obvious that
you are under emotional stress and its effecting your subconscience/ mental
health. Otherwise, your dreams wouldnt be so significant right now. I suggest
you definately take some down time to sort out your personal affairs, and maybe
relax a little. You may find that once that is accomplished, this nightmare
will stop. Its always better to face the past full force instead of trying to
walk away without ever looking back. The past always comes back
to haunt you. If you'd like to discuss the matter some more, with me at any
time, please send me another email.

I recently left my husband and moved my children out of state. This
was for the safety and well being of all involved and I believe in my
desision. My sub-conscience, however, is acting out constantly by
giving me nightmares on a much more regular basis than normal. My
latest involved me standing in an empty, darkened field. Suddenly a
herd of what appear at first to be equinine-like creatures come
charging towards me. As they approach, I can see that thier shape is
equinine but they are uncharacteristically like that of a normal
horse in that they have no mane or tail, and are covered in a tight,
grey, leathery skin. In my dream, my heart begins to race and I feel
extreme fear of these creatures, not just because I am in thier path,
but also because of a deep down hidden fear from a place within my self
that seems to recognize the hellish things. I then startled myself
awake at this point, pulling on an invisible lifeline that I have made
for myself in instances such as this one, and I am awake. What does
this dream mean to me, I have no clue. So now I ask you.
