Subject: space needle
my job was to lift a huge metal aparatus on a blue crane to the top
of the space needle (seattle), to put around the needle. i didnt
think the crane could reach the top, its over 200 feet high. an
asian fellow gets on the crane and shows me how. he makes it go
very high, and over the space needle. it gets scary the thing is
swinging in the wind on this line at the end of the crane. it looks
very high up. he cant quite make it on to the needle, it keeps
falling next to it. i start to think this is dangerous, if it falls
it could kill people nearby. next thing i know i am on an airplane
circling the space needle, which is making a crash landing. i
realize this was a dream and the asian is actually flying the
airplane with his family. the plane spilts in half and i fall
through it into black smoke. somehow i land safely and i hear the
plane explode but i dont see it, since i am in smoke. i hoped they
were ok. i walk away from it and the same metal thing is on the
ground. i see a ladder and i climb to the top of the needle. at
the top is a deformed troll. at first i am afraid i am going to
fall backwards to my death at the mere shock of seeing this thing
but i manage not to. he is fussy about getting the metal thing put
on the needle. i have a prototype of the thing in my hand. i told
him its a few inches too tall to fit inside his room, but i'll
measure it again when i go back down. when i get back down and
examine the thing, it is like 30 feet tall. his room was only 5 or
six feet tall.
